CTS #235 ~ Family

Happy Saturday! When I saw the sketch for this week's CAS(E) This Sketch challenge, the ideas flooded my brain! I started in four different directions before I had a light bulb moment. This is the result, hope you like it!

When looking for another image, my eyes landed on this sweet little group (Past Time Stamps)! I think they're the perfect image for these hot August days. They also remind me of my husband and his four brothers! I paired them with this darling star border stamp from Precious Remembrance Shop and a tiny sentiment from Morning Star Stamps.

Have a beautiful weekend!

FMS #300 ~ Hello!

Hey there! Freshly Made Sketches is celebrating their 300th sketch, so of course I had to join in the fun! I went light and airy with a little pop of glam!

I've used two Pretty Pink Posh Blissful Butterflies images, the sentient from the set and their coordinating dies. The larger of the two panels was die cut with Stitched Borders 2 & 3 dies. I glammed things up a bit with the gold embossed sentiment and PPP Metallic Gold Sequins. (4mm & 6mm).

I hope you have something fun planned today. Me, I'm off to the dentist for round one of a chipped crown repair. Anybody want to take my place?

Hello, Lovely

Hiya! Popping in real quick with my card for this week's Papertrey Ink Make it Monday. Stephanie shared a fun Monochrome Color Pop technique that I wanted to try out. Here ya go!

I already had these two Simple Sunflowers die cuts on hand and wanted to put them to good use. Don't you just love them? They're such a pretty little sunflower! I added them, along with a few of their coordinating leaves, to a Mat Stack 4 die cut. My monochromatic background was created by stamping a Turning a New Leaf image in Ripe Avocado. The lighter shade was made with a second stamping.

I decided my pop of color needed an extra pop of color from some Pretty Pink Posh 6mm Marigold Sequins. Don't they match the Summer Sunrise ink perfectly! Love it when stuff like that works out!

CCC #261 ~ You Are Kind of Amazing!

Hi there! I had some crafty time today, so I got busy on this card for CASology. Their cue word is {Safari} and I knew just the stamp I wanted to use.

I have always loved this adorable lion from Stamps by Judith. The expression on his face is what gets me! He's stamped among a rocks and grass image, also by Judith. I popped him up on a ME panel then added the Wplus9 sentiment.

Thanks for visiting. I'll be spending the day with Sweet P tomorrow! Mommy has to start getting her classroom ready. Can you believe school starts soon. Where does the time go?

Playing Cards With Michele!

Hi there! I have a just for fun card to share today.

On our way home from vacation last month, we stopped by for a visit with our friends Tom and Michele Ferguson! Yep, that's Michele of I Card Everyone

While Tom and Shawn talked photography then battled it out at ping pong, Michele and I played cards in her craft room!! What a treat! I had the chance to play with this gorgeous Altenew set I've been eyeing. I sat on one side of her desk, Michele across from me acting as my sous- chef!! I brought home my bag of stamped goodies. This card is the result of the fruits of our labor. I used each and every item we stamped together. Of course I had to add a vellum panel. I know Michele loves her vellum *wink*  And then I thought a splash of PPP sequins was in order.

This card is special and filled with treasured memories.
I think I'll hang on to this one.
We're already talking about future visits!
